Private Parties and Rentals
Members are welcome to host parties at the pool. There are two types of parties available:
- Parties during open pool hours for attendees of 25 or less
- Private evening parties for 26+ attendees
No parties will be scheduled for Memorial weekend.
Reservations for dates and times begins each year on opening day. All reservations are on a first-come basis, payment and deposit must accompany the reservation form (available at the pool). Further details regarding charges, rules, cancellation/refund policies are provided upon request and with the reservation materials.
Policies for parties during open hours and up to 25 guests
Parties for 1 to 25 guests may be held during regular pool hours. Parties for over 25 guests must be scheduled after regular pool hours. The guest count for a party includes all members and guests; swimmers and non-swimmers.
Arrangements for parties during regular pool hours need to be made one week in advance. There are four types of parties that can take place during open hours:
- Up to 10 guests: No pavilion usage, no time limit and you may use punch passes for all non-member guests.
- Up to 20 guests: No pavilion usage, no time limit and you may use up to 10 guest passes, additional non-member guests above 10 will cost $3.00 each.
- Up to 13 guests: Half pavilion rental, 3 hour time limit, $50.00 fee includes all guests (members, non-members, swimmers and non-swimmers).
- Up to 25 guests: Half pavilion rental, 3 hour time limit, $70.00 fee includes all guests (members, non-members, swimmers and non-swimmers). If you exceed 25 guests you will be asked to pay an additional $50.00.
The half pavilion rental reserves half of the pavilion, two tables, and one gas grill for three hours. Full payment is due when you sign up for a party reservation. Make a reservation by signing up with the concession stand attendant during pool hours. Only one party at a time will be allowed to reserve half of the pavilion. The other half will remain open to the general membership.
Guests at all parties are subject to the rules of the pool.
Private Party Policies
Parties of more than 25 people must schedule a private party. A private party rental is available on Friday and Saturday nights for three hours and includes use of the entire facility. Policies and fees:
- Reservations for private parties begin opening day of the swim season.
- Reservations prior to opening day will not be accepted.
- Reservations are accepted on a first-come basis.
- Reservations must be made by a member of the pool, who must also be in attendance for the duration of the party.
- All member dues must be paid prior to scheduling a private party.
- Private party fees must be paid in full at time of reservation.
- Private parties take place Friday and Saturday evenings.
- Private party hours are from 7:00 to 9:45 p.m. Guests may enter the pool at 7:15 p.m. once a guard is stationed in the guard stand and must leave the water by 9:45 p.m. Premises must be vacated by 10:00 p.m.
- A minimum of two (2) lifeguards will be on duty at all private parties. Additional SCCA lifeguards needed shall be determined by pool management based upon the number of people registered on the party registration form.
- All SCCA House Rules and Private Party Rules are to be observed at all times. The host member is responsible for informing party attendees of the SCCA rules.
- All guests must sign in at the front desk upon arrival.
- Any fees due based on attendance numbers exceeding the original contract must be paid by the host member before the end of the party.
- Food and drink (including alcohol) may be served and consumed on the premises. However, no food or drink is to be consumed in the pool water.
- Glass containers are prohibited in the pool and on the deck, smoking is prohibited on the premises.
- Pool flotation devices may be used with the approval of the pool management.
- Excessive noises are not permitted. Past 9:59 p.m. the Fort Collins Police Department may warn SCCA for loud music or noise. If a citation is issued, the reserving owner/member shall be responsible for the citation and any associated fees.
- Lifeguards on duty have the authority to terminate the party early for reasons of participant safety and/or misconduct.
- Lifeguards are not social chaperones.
- The smooth functioning of a private party is the responsibility of the member who has reserved the pool.
- Please remember that the reputation of the SCCA pool depends upon pool members as well as the pool staff in taking responsibilities seriously.
Cancellation Policies:
- Parties cancelled by the pool staff prior to the start of the party due to inclement weather will be fully refunded.
- Parties cancelled by the pool staff during the course of the party due to inclement weather will be refunded on a pro-rated basis at the time of the cancellation.
- There will be no refund of any party fees for parties cancelled by the member six or less days prior to the scheduled party date.
- There will be a full refund of any party fees for parties cancelled by the member seven or more days prior to the scheduled party date.
- NO refund for a guard ending a party early due to safety violations or misconduct.
Private Party Fees
In addition to the amounts listed below, each reservation includes a $50.00 cleaning deposit. It is the responsibility of the reserving member to clean up at the end of the party. If the pool grounds are cleaned up properly, the deposit will be returned.
- Up to 60 people - $125.00 - Two lifeguards on duty
- 61 to 100 people - $175.00 - Three lifeguards on duty
- 100+ people - $225.00 - Four lifeguards on duty
