You have hopefully noticed all of the improvements in the bathrooms, and during those cooler days you are no doubt appreciating the warm pool temperatures. We genuinely appreciate every donation from our membership, big or small.
Come join us TONIGHT for our first event at the pool this season! We will be holding our Annual Potluck starting at 6:00pm, and then we'll have a Q&A session with board members (7:00ish). After the Q&A we will be showing a short Wallace and Gromit film for all ages. We ask that attendees bring a side dish or dessert to share, the board will provide sandwiches and beverages. Sign up sheets are posted on the bulletin by the guard check in station and in the women's restroom. Don't forget to bring any questions you have for the pool board. We hope to see you there!
You might be wondering whether Friday night food trucks will be a thing this summer. Unfortunately in the past we haven't had the head count to get the food trucks to commit (and keep their commitments). However - we are hoping to schedule a truck come to one or two of our bigger summer events since there were many members who expressed how much they enjoyed them. If you are a food truck fan, keep your eyes open for more info.
Here are a few reminders about our guest pass policies. Our intention is to welcome guests and yet not exceed our legal guard-to-member ratios, nor to negatively impact the other members using the pool.
Guests will be charged $5.00 per person for a guest pass. One pass must be used for each guest entering the pool, regardless of whether or not the guest is swimming.
The $5.00 guest fee is good for the day, but if a guest leaves, they must get a wrist band to be able to re-enter without another pass.
Guests must sign in at the concession stand upon arrival.
Members may bring up to 6 guests per day.
If a member would like to bring more than 6 guests in one day, we ask that they call ahead and speak to the head guard on duty (970-493-4102). Permission to bring more than 6 guests will be given, so long as the attendance of members at the pool that day is reasonably low.
Bringing more than 10 guests to the pool requires a pre-paid pavilion party.
Members receive 10 free guest passes at the beginning of each season.
Thank you for a great start to the season! We've seen many of you already during this first week. Thank you for bringing your membership scan cards with you, and having them scanned every time you enter. If lost, replacement cards can be purchased for $5. Sometimes the pool is so busy that we don't have a guard in the concession stand. If you ever come to sign-in and there isn't a lifeguard, you may sign in on a paper sheet. Don't forget to stack your chairs when you are leaving; it makes it a lot easier on the guards when they are closing for the night.
We appreciate all of the members who have helped clean up discrepancies in the membership records (see here for more details on that). We will continue to contact memberships if we have questions about who is being listed on accounts. Thanks again, and happy swimming!
